Piece Corps
Meets third Thursday of each month at 9:30
Piece Corp members prayerfully craft quilts for donation and make prayer shawls and clowns for the pastor to deliver to those in the hospital or those struggling with life situations. One does not have to be a Piece Corp member to make prayer shawls for donation. Feel free to donate or join the Piece Corp to sew for the ministry.
Wednesday Bible Study
Meets each Wednesday at 9:30
September through May
The Wednesday Bible Study is a book-study group. Christian books, which encourage examination of the Bible, are recommended by group participants. The participants read the book individually week by week, and then meet to discuss the content and its relation to Scripture.
Men's Coffee Fellowship Group
Meets each Wednesday at 9:30
September through May
The Men's Coffee is an open discussion over coffee and mid-morning snack. Enjoy a time of fellowship as the discussion is free-flowing and unplanned.
United Methodist Women (UMW)
Meets second Thursday of each month 9:30
September through May
New Richmond's UMW is the local unit of the larger UMW organization with one million members. Our local UMW has earned a Five Star award and qualifies as a Mission Today unit due to its strong work in missions. The UMW's purpose is to foster spiritual growth, advocate for justice, and to develop a creative fellowship through working as a community.
Just for Fun Women's Group
Meets 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:00
Bring your favorite hobby activity or anything to do with your hands. There is always an open discussion in a Christian setting, as you work on your activity.
Faith development is life-long and dynamic;
full of setbacks, distractions and missteps; and requires intentional cultivation.
