Wednesday Morning Men's Coffee Fellowship

United Methodist Men's Coffee meets every Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. at The Deerfield (1127 West 8th St, New Richmond).

Men's Coffee has an open discussion over coffee and a mid-morning snack. Enjoy a time of fellowship as the discussion is free-flowing and unplanned. All are welcome.


New - Wednesday Evening Video  Discussion
Dream.Think.Be.Do.
2nd & 4th Wednesday from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm in room 101/102 (Lower Level)

Dream.Think.Be.Do. features the insights if over twenty-five theologians and teachers at the top of their game. Each of the twenty self-standing sessions contains a 20 minute DVD segment drawn from the critically acclaimed Living the Question 2 Series. Open to everyone!  Led by Scott Herron.

"Young Adults are already a part of a re-visioning of Christianity that is translating what it means to follow Jesus in today's world. - so help them Dream, Think, Be, Do with all their Heart, Soul, Strength, and Mind!"


Thursday Morning Bible/Book Study
We meet every Thursday, September-May
(with the exception of the 2nd Thursday of each month)
from 9:30 am - 10:30 am in the church parlor.

Book Club

We meet at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd Thursday of each month in the church parlor (behind the office).   

Next meeting- Thursday, July 12
Our selection is "When Breath Becomes Air" by Paul Kalanithi, a remarkable non-fiction account of a young neurosurgeon's thoughts as he faces a terminal illness - sad but inspirational. Questions call Jerri Rang 715-246-2956  All are welcome. 


Piece Corps Sewing Group

We meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. downstairs in our fellowship hall.

The group crafts quilts for donations - including those given to families at Grace Place transitional living center. They also make prayer shawls for the pastor to deliver to those in the hospital or those struggling with life situations. Feel free to stop by and see what projects they're working on.


Just For Fun Women's Fellowship

We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Bring your favorite hobby activity or anything to do with your hands. There is always an open discussion in a Christian setting, as you work on your activity.


Wednesday Evening Bible Study

   6:30 pm - 7:45pm Class is held at The Deerfield (1127 West 8th St, New Richmond)

United Methodist Women (UMW)

September - May
We meet at church on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m.

New Richmond's UMW is the local unit of the larger UMW organization with one million members. Our local UMW has earned a Five Star award and qualifies as a Mission Today unit due to its strong work in mission. The UMW purpose is to foster spiritual growth, advocate for justice, and fellowship through working as a community. All women are welcome to attend. You don't have to be a member of NR UMC to attend UMW.
