FAITH TRANSFORMED
Like the ‘transformers’ we played with as children, God calls us to become more than just what we were at our birth. Confirmation is a time to look at how far we have come, how well the transformation is going and who we can be as Christians in and for our world.
We begin by looking back at what God has ‘written on our hearts’ thus far. Maybe filling some gaps we may have missed along the way…and clarifying some things we might understand better.
We then can accept for ourselves all that God offers us through Christ. This happens at different times and in different ways for each of us.
We will explore where each of us can serve the church. It takes all of us working together in the community to faith in order for the church to exist. Each of us has gifts to find and share.
We are called to help transform the world through missions and in justice for the future. What opportunities can we be a part of in this world?
2011 Confirmation is for grades 9 & up.
September 14th through February 22nd. Confirmation Sunday is February 26th.
Rehearsal is Saturday, February 25th.
A new Confirmation group is starting on February 22nd.
